Currently an 8 page publication, published 3 times a year (~April, ~July and ~December), Breastfeeding Matters provides information and networking specific to the needs of those promoting breastfeeding. Regular features include; “Happenings,” a column listing lactation related conferences and trainings, helpful websites, new research, legislative updates, local and national breastfeeding promotion activities. The newsletter also contains information about seasonal activities such as World Breastfeeding Week, BCW Awards, and the WithinReach Fundraising Luncheon.
